ProsperityJar-day2

The World - Tarot Card - The Witches Tarot Deck/Ellen Dugan

Last night I added a new part to my Prosperity space. I decided to draw a new tarot card each day & leave it sitting by my prosperity jar. Last nights card was the Seven of Pentacles. An excellent card! Today - The World. Two excellent cards to start off my prosperity exercise.

'Spiritual lessons have been mastered. There is a sense of freedom & harmony to be enjoyed.  Newly acquired knowledge, strength, and spiritual understanding will now be put to good use.'

Today I also have so far gotten to put a check mark by 3 of my 4 tasks on my to-do list. Plus I did some crafty fun as well. I glittered a vase with purple flowers and sunflowers in it, & added a few sparkles to the flowers as well. I just couldnt resist! *lol*

My Passion Parties business desk...

As I was cleaning around the house today I kept noticing something odd. I'm finding change here, there, and everywhere! *lol* Everytime I see some silver coins, I think - oh! money for my prosperity jar!!

If you have ever considered joining Wiccan Moonsong's Daily Magick but not sure about it. I will tell you it is well worth it! Just got my 1st e-mail from her today. And WOW! Great information and help in just one email. Her love and devotion just pour right through.
I am so much happier & content with magick in my daily life! Blessed Be )O(

ProsperityExercise

Today I read on Jasmeine Wiccan Moonsong's blog about a prosperity exercise that really cheered me up and perked my interest.

Prosperity Space

This is a month long commitment, I started it today Monday March 31st 2014.
1.  Decorate any container.
2. Write an affirmation list
3. Put in $1.00 each day, read affirmation list when money is added each day.

I cleared a corner in my kitchen. This is a cupboard shelf as you walk into my kitchen. So I'm sure to see it every day. I washed up a triangle shaped jar I bought at a second hand store 3 years ago. I loved it. But didn't actually have a use for it. I added patchouli, sage, a ruby chip, $1.00 in change I found around the house, my Passion Parties business card, my Sacred Oaks Alchemy business card (for hand mades), and a bay leaf that I wrote "money prosperity" on in glittery reddish pink ink. Burned a sage, rosemary, cinnamon mixture in my cauldron I whipped up on the spur of the moment. Added two faery guardians from my best friend Tanya in Canada. What better plant to sit next to it than one of my bamboo plants. Bamboo plants are the bringer of fortune and prosperity.

I love glitter. So I glittered the bottom part of the jar with green glitter and a sprinkling of my SRC I just mixed up. So my prosperity jar is protected and anointed the color of luck, prosperity and abundance as well as herbs!  I've wrapped a green hemp string around the neck of the jar 9 times and added a pentacle broom charm to decorate it as well.

I love my prosperity jar. I think I will find ways to have a dollar each day to add to it!

This is actually the 3rd of 3 magickal things I did today. I re-joined Witch-School, signed up for Moonsong's Daily Magick.

Blessed Be )O(

Pagan Blog Project-Week 13-Letter G:   Grateful Green Witch

As a green witch I am grateful to the Universe for all that comes my way. Good, bad or indifferent I accept it all. As a green witch I believe that everything in nature is alive. It lives, it breathes, everything has an energy t it. It is all here to aid us in our journey. I believe that the planet Earth belongs to the plants and animals and that we are to co-exists. I believe that we belong to the Earth, not that the Earth belongs to us humans.

The green witch is one who works with nature. Using herbs, incense, plants as a way of life, for the natural magickal properties.  Learning when to plant, sow, and cultivate my magickal garden is much the way that the farmer tends to their fields as well. I learn to plan my planting according to the moon phase. These things are so fascinating for me to learn and use.

When I was a child I often saw myself (or someone?) as a woman in an old cottage, sweeping with a corn broom on a cobblestone walkway, trees, many plants outside, lots and lots of bottles oils, jars of plants and herbs on plain wooden shelves...

Green Witchcraft is the use of plants, herbs, oils. These can be used in rituals, daily cooking, candle crafting, crafting of other items such as oils, bath salts, gris-gris bags, and anything you can think of to use in everyday mundane and magickal life.

Not just herbs have magickal properties. Everything in nature does. Fruits, vegetables, eggs, animals, trees, house plants, weeds, etc...What are some of the common everyday herbs that have magickal properties?

Sage:  wisdom, protection, longevity, healing, prosperity.
Rosemary: protection, healing, sleep, youth, love, lust, mental clarity. Rub rosemary oil on aching muscles. Add rosemary oil to your shampoo for increased hair growth.
Orange: luck, love, money, divination. Nicknamed the 'love fruit'
Marigold: protection, prophetic dreams, legal matters, - carried in your pocket strengthens justice to smile favorably on you.
Rhubarb: protection, fidelity. Wear a rhubard root on a piece of string around the neck to protect against stomach pain.

Tired of Working with Tyrants...

Every day at work it feels like I fight for the right to be myself, to speak, to have feelings and thoughts. But am treated like I'm a robot or a solider. "I am a Spiritual Being having a human experience. Not a Human Being having a Spiritual experience!"

In my one year written evaluation, it was written that I am to read the minutes and sign them if I did not attend the mandatory meeting. ok, so where are the minutes? No minutes are ever taken by anyone. No minutes are made available for any of us to sign. *shrugs*

I ask about the care of a resident, & I'm told to not get short with the D.O.N. (director of nursing) and told SHE is the one who wrote the note. Wow! *lol* That is why I was asking for help with the situation.
Whatever...
I'm so disgusted with nursing. They do the opposite of what they tell you is right. Residents have the right to make their own decisions, residents being involved with activities is what prevents depression and wanting to die. Yet we are basically told to go lay down every resident after breakfast & lunch. Which just happens to be the exact same time that activities are going on!

I'm excited when I'm gone from there to think about other things in life. Nature, herbs, candles, intent, my home, my family and my home business Passion Parties by Julie.

I have new spring products that were introduced at our annual convention, that I've just recently returned from. I'm excited to show our new body whip in pomegranate ginger and coconut lemongrass scents.

I learned so many exciting things at convention this year! Very excited to implement some of it into my own business.

Blessings - Julie

FearofSuccess

Fear Of Success. Just three simple words. But what do they REALLY mean? I will say them again. Fear of Success. Still sounds simple enough. Why would I or anyone else be afraid to succeed? Hmmm... That does not feel like an answer though. It does not feel as though I have resolved a question. I will look deeper! Because I ponder those words a lot. What is the deeper meaning. What is the answer. What is the reason why I really am not where I want to be with my Passion Parties business.

-- If I have the huge success that I really truly want as an Independent Passion Parties Consultant, my whole life will change. It will change a lot. It will change from feeling down, self-doubting, down from lack of money. I won't want want want and not get. I will have a whole huge world open to me. Maybe that is what is scary to me. Success, getting things I want, having money for nice clothes, more make up, candles, buying crafts, having friends, going shopping,  being able to be more social. Those are all things that I do not have.

Okay, so now I've finally answered the question. What now? Go out and make it happen of course! How?

Do things that are outside of my comfort zone, walk outside the box!!

Make big differences! Make big changes!

Pass out awesome cool business cards -   ordered! at  Zazzle with Myka Jelina art!!
Get out of town! Go someplace where people are. Where people have money, and like to spend money, smell good, look good.
Make a Vision Map - Where can I see where I'm going if I have no map! How will I know when I arrive without a map!

All in all, I think that I need to realize that success does not happen overnight. When we gain weight, we might later on make the decision to loose weight. Ok, the decision is made. That is not what brings it to light though. Keeping focused on the goal, doing the work of exercising, making better food choices, and over a period of time whether its months or years is what brings that goal to light. Then we have our success...

LookingOverThePast

Today I found myself looking over old c.d.s at things I've made in years past. And I suddenly began to see a funny pattern. Magick! Many years before I even had the realization that I am a magickal person. Which was not until 2011. All the years before I had been dabbling in it without realizing it. Just because I was collecting graphics that I liked. I've been surrounded by witches, pagans, and magickal people the whole time and did not even see it.

Just because someone's name was Rhiannon, Isis, Selene, Raven, Sicara. I did not associate them as being dark, evil, or scarey. I was completely comfortable with those names. I think they are beautiful. It could be their real name or made up. But I never once associated their names with magickal arts, wicca, witch, paganism, eclectic, and the plethora of other magickal names associated with magick or spirituality.

As I look through my past signature tags, the kinds of graphics I was ordering - that I was attracted to. And the people's names who were making them. I am surprised that I've been doing that for many more years than what I have actually been admiting to being magickal. Many more years than I've actually been learning about paganism, celtic, welsh, egyptian, and norse gods and goddesses. For many more years than I've been celebrating the turning of the wheel, the changing of the seasons.

I did not even know paganism was still alive until just 3 years ago!
I thought it was an ancient way of living so far gone that no body today was even aware it had ever existed. I longed for it though. I could see myself having lived in those days.

Lets look at some of the things I've collected over the years. BEFORE I realized who and what I am. *lol*

this little triple moon I find particularly interesting. The year was 2008 That is still 2 years before I picked up a book on wicca, paganism, witchcraft, gods and goddesses, magickal nature. Two years before I had ever done any searches online. 2 years before I found out paganism was still alive.... Okay I won't go on and on but. See my point! *giggles*

Some of these particular signature tags I made, some I drew...

this silly lil cutie is my own dabbling *lol*

one of my more favorite pixels I've drawn & colored
I couldn't resist making this one. It reminded of an
Edgar Allen Poe kind of time...

Lets take a look at the kinds of signature tags I was ordering for others now ---

This is from a website that was around called Cassiopeia! She had all the best signatures. All the unicorns, goddesses, castles, dragons!

Baubbles n' Broomsticks - can't get much more witchy and magickal than that

FirstDay-DayShift

What a wonderful autumn day to start my first day of my day shift on - November 12th! I've always liked the number 12. I do not know why. *giggles*
Today was such a nice and magickal day! I burned butterfly incense for change and transformation and good luck. From my butterfly honey pot I got bought from White Magick Alchemy. *Whispers -- my favorite shop*

To start off todays adventure I forgot that in the morning there will be frost on my windows! DUH! I'm use to going to work in the middle of the afternoon...
I was in a great mood all day long. Thinking of the wonderful butterfly resin I had burned in the morning to bring me good luck all day long. I learned new things today at work. In less than a year in and I've made it from night shift, two months later to evenings. And now just 9 months in, day shift! Excited to start my life back up. My magickal life! My family life! My married life!

Over the past several months of going back into a nursing home setting to work, I have missed out on a lot. My grand kid's sports over the summer. My grandson Dante played football for the first time this year! And Evey continued with track. It felt like life and my family was just passing me by. I've missed holiday and other family get togethers. I've missed out on going to movies w/ my husband because I don't get many weekends off. Maybe a weekend, or part of a weekend every 2 months. :'(

I've missed Sabbats, I've missed candle and other magickal crafting. And being involved in my craft. I was so in tune, so at peace, so happy. My house was clean. I could hold a ritual at any time of the day or night.  But then the bills come due and one has to get a job again that pay the bills...

SomethingKindaWonderful

I have noticed something wonderful happening with one of my bamboo plants. It has suddenly shot up tremendously. All of a sudden it has grown a great deal. What have I done different? I was rearranging some plants in my living room. (taking them off the pellet stove that I of course do not use in the summer)

I placed it on my Passion Parties desk. This is where I make my samples, prizes, keep my orders... Then there is this connection that I realized too. Suddenly I've been getting orders at work left and right! What have I done different in my life?

Well, I have been doing a lot of visualization while burning incense. I visualize on my way to work, when I'm just sitting alone at home, at work...
I'm not going to say exactly what I am visualizing, as I believe that will take the power of it away. I bet you can figure it out though *giggles*
And coincidentally the bamboo plant is a 'good luck' plant. See all the connections happening!
I have no idea what made me set that plant on my desk. It's a very very small desk. It's actually a little kitchen table nook with 2 stools that store under the table. Somehow it got converted into my Passion Parties work space. *lol*

Mabon2013

                 My 2013 Mabon Altar
A witches hat worry stone represents the Goddess area of my altar. Three stones in the center to represent the autumn equinox- garnet(red/purple), carnelian (orange/red), and a moonstone. My incense cauldron burns guilded pear autumn incense & myrrh resin, representing the God altar area. The main area is decorated with the Mabon candle from www.whitemagickalchemy.com with all the wonderful scents of the autumn season! A few seasonal fruits & vegetables to give thanks to the Lord & Lady for the gifts of this bountiful season - pomegranate, squashes, & an avacado. Along with silk flowers of purple & yellow, dried pumpkin seeds & cloves.

Wish there were such a thing as smell-o-vision!

I did some small things today to help celebrate this sabbat, but they felt great big in my heart.

Before I had to go to work, I did a mini-ritual where I made a blessing leaf for the 1st time. I thought about what I wanted for the day, how I wanted to feel. And wrote it (one word) on a bay leaf, then burned it. My word of the day was peace. Guess what kind of day I had at the nursing home? Yes!! Yes I did.
Then at work all day I kept wishing the residents a 'happy 1st day of fall'
Afterall, I cant very well go around saying Mabon blessings to everyone in a small western town predominately jehovahs witness & morman lol!
